LONDON AND PARIS…..What I Liked Best! (part 2)

Here are more trends that caught my eye as I shopped London and Paris last week. I am showing my complete report in the next weeks via a fee-based webinar. Please click here to join and be up to date on the latest spring news from Europe!

Denim News
Happy to report there were lots of indigo denim jeans shown at every level–still mostly slim and in equal amounts of dark, stonewash, distressed, and bleached.  The news centered around lots of lightweight silky indigo denim blends styled in all manner of sportswear items.  This added to the allure of supple, soft, and silky for casual.

Shirt Style
Woven shirts, whether silky or in cotton, were on every mannequin, much the way cardigans, biker jackets, denim jeans have been in the past. The look is wearing a shirt with all manner of bottoms, career or casual. Also prominent were the shirtdress and tunic shirt. The silk Equipment shirt was featured everywhere. Pocket and tabs; pockets and tabs!

Beiges and Browns Overtake Greys!
Greys were there but took a back seat to the amount of beige and brown families presented prominently in all classifications and markets, including accessories and footwear. From pale beige to rich tans, mochas, and caramels, the breadth of great brown shades to layer all together was awesome–I loved it!
